Unique and Valuable
Enchanted Little Forest Child Care Center is based the belief that our center should
offer an exciting yet nurturing environment which allows the children to explore, learn through play, experiment with life concepts, and encourage the children to excel mentally and physically. We strive to capture the imagination of our children and instill a sense of awe as they learn through experimentation and trial and error. The children are given the opportunity to explore materials and participate in a variety of experience. Teachers plan and implement activities in an open-classroom setting. Children are free to choose from age-appropriate activities including art, music, language development, pre-math skills, sensory, science and nature, and dramatic play. hands-on approach to learning fosters creativity, self-expression, and a positive self-image. We embrace differences among our children and their cultures and strive to incorporate these differences into the child's experiences. This philosophy is viewed as the cornerstone for our curriculum. Our curriculum follows the Creative Curriculum from Teaching Strategies and teachers are provided support from the Curriculum Support Coach.
